Several international media reports have highlighted the work of prominent legal experts and international lawyers serving on the International Commission of Inquiry on Systemic Racist Police Violence Against People of African Descent in the United States. Our hearings over the first week have been heard by Commissioners Max Boqwana of South Africa, Judge Peter Herbert of the UK and Kenya, Mr. Bert Samuels of Jamaica and Prof. Rashida Manjoo of South Africa, and hearings will continue until Feb. 6. Members of the public are invited to watch the videos and read the transcripts of past sessions and register to attend our upcoming two weeks of hearings.
